About this event
Whether you’re a first-time gardener or looking to refresh your skills, Gardening 101 will provide information to create a thriving, beautiful garden. Master Gardener, Donna Ringwall, of Cornell Cooperative Extension will discuss Spring planting, raised bed gardening, and the creative possibilities of low-maintenance flower boxes.
Ms. Ringwall is a lifelong gardener with a deep-rooted passion for cultivating both plants and community. She has dedicated years to sharing her knowledge and love of sustainable living. As a Master Gardener volunteer, she educates and inspires others to grow healthy, thriving gardens. Her commitment to environmental stewardship extends to her work as a Master Composter, where she promotes soil health and waste reduction. There will be an opportunity to ask questions throughout the presentation. If a NNN member wishes to request transportation to this event, please do so by calling 518-631-2402 before Monday, April 27th. This event is co-sponsored by Niskayuna Neighbors Network and the Niskayuna Senior Center.
